COL. Thomas Kisch

Colonel Thomas Kisch enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserves in 1993 and obtained the rank of Corporal. He graduated from St. Cloud State University, MN, in April 1997 and then attended The Basic School and completed the Infantry Officer Course in 1997.
As an infantry officer, he served in 2d Battalion 3d Marines from 1998-2001, Inspector-Instructor Weapons Company 1st Battalion 24th Marines from 2001-2004, 1st Battalion 3d Marines from 2004-2007, 2d Battalion 3d Marines in 2007. Commander tour include Inspector-Instructor 3d Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company from 2014-2016.
Staff assignments include Assistant Operations Officer 3d Marine Regiment in 2008, Division Planner 1st Marine Division from 2009-2012, Operations Officer 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit from 2013-2014, Deputy I Marine Expeditionary Force G-7 and I Expeditionary Operations Training Group from 2016-2020, N5 Expeditionary Strike Group THREE from 2020-2021 and Director of Operations and Training Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Atlantic from 2022-2023.
Colonel Kisch is a graduate of three U.S. Naval War College programs that include College of Naval Command and Staff in 2009, Maritime Advanced Warfare Studies in 2009, and College of Naval Warfare in 2022 and holds a Masters in National Security and Strategic Studies.
Personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal with silver star, Navy Commendation Medal with Combat “V” and two gold stars, and the Combat Action Ribbon.
