FCCS (SW) Seager is a 1997 graduate of Norman High School, Norman Oklahoma, He enlisted in the Navy in August of 2002 and attended Recruit Training at Great Lakes, Illinois followed by Tech Core and Fire Controlman “A” School while at Great Lakes. After completing “A” School, he attended MK-86 Gun Fire Control System “C” School at NAS Oceana, Dam Neck Annex, Virginia Beach, Virginia where he graduated in February 2004. He is a graduate of MK-86 Gun Fire Control Mod 9/10 “C” School, Harpoon Control System “C” School, Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control “C” School, Tomahawk Strike Manager, Navy Recruiting “C” school, Combat Systems Senior Enlisted School and the Senior Enlisted Academy.
Senior Chief Seager’s sea assignments include USS STUMP (DD 978), Norfolk, Virginia, USS SAN JACINTO (CG 56), Norfolk, Virginia, USS CURTIS WILBUR (DDG 54), Yokosuka, Japan, and USS MICHAEL MONSOOR (DDG 1001), San Diego, California.
Senior Chief Seager’s shore assignments include Naval Recruiting District Saint Louis, Missouri where he was Recruiter-in-Charge of Naval Recruiting Station, Lawrence, Kansas and Tactical Training Group Atlantic.
Senior Chief Seager was selected as a Chief Petty Officer in 2014 while onboard USS CURTIS WILBUR (DDG 54) and to Senior Chief Petty Officer in 2020 while onboard USS MICHAEL MONSOOR (DDG 1001).
Senior Chief Seager’s decorations and awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), the Navy Good Conduct Medal (four awards) and various other unit and campaign awards. He earned his Enlisted Surface Warfare Insignia while onboard USS SAN JACINTO (CG 56).
