     Rear Adm. Jeffrey Czerewko is a native of Saginaw, Michigan and a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and also holds a master’s degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College.

     At sea, he deployed aboard USS Enterprise (CVN 65) with Attack Squadron 75 and with Strike Fighter Squadron 81 on USS Eisenhower (CVN 69), both assigned to CVW-17.  For his department head tour, he served with Strike Fighter Squadron 136 attached to CVW-7 onboard USS Kennedy (CV 67) and USS Washington (CVN 73).  He commanded Strike Fighter Squadron 146 and deployed twice with USS Stennis (CVN 74) as part of CVW-9.  Czerewko also commanded Carrier Air Wing 2 while assigned on USS Reagan (CVN 76) as the Strike Warfare Commander for Carrier Strike Group 9.

     Ashore, Czerewko’s tours include serving as a Fleet Replacement Squadron instructor pilot as assistant safety officer and assistant training officer while assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron 106; service as the electronic warfare branch chief with the Joint Staff, J 39 Deputy Directorate for Global Operations; assignment as the resource sponsor for Naval Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Capabilities as the Director for Battlespace Awareness (N2N6 F2).  He also stood up the Digital Warfare Office as the acting director on the Navy Staff and served as the Chief of Staff for Commander, Naval Air Forces.  Most recently he served at US Fleet Forces Command as Director, Fleet Integrated Readiness and Analysis.

     Additional service include an assignment to the Naval Special Warfare Development Group and as the battle director for the Combined Air and Space Operations Center, Al Udeid, Qatar.

     He is the recipient of the various personal awards and unit decorations and received the Navy and Marine Corps Leadership award in 2002 and 2004.
