OVERVIEW

Students attending resident courses should report in the uniform of the day. Upon arrival, you should:

  • Park behind the building on 5th Street

  • Report to your respective classrooms; if location is unknown, please check with one of the monitors in the passageways or within the quarterdeck

NAVY GATEWAY INNS AND SUITES
The Navy Gateway Inns and Suites are located at:

  • 1120 A Street, Building 3408 onboard Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story (JEBLCS) in Virginia Beach, Virginia

ORDERS

  • Commands: In preparation of orders, students attending resident courses should report no later than 0730 on the class convening date to EWGTLANT. 

  • Students: You must have the original six copies of your orders in your possession when reporting (additional copies are not required for both the AWI and AAOC courses)


REQUIREMENTS

  • Orders must cite the authority granting the quota, and must list the title and course identification number (CIN)

  • If applicable, orders must contain the statement "student meets health, physical fitness, and aptitude score prerequisites for the course"
     

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Students: If you are reporting for school on permanent change of orders (PCS) orders and en-route overseas, should obtain all port call information prior to detachment from your parent command. If you report to EWTGLANT without TAD orders, then your parent command will be notified and allowed 48 hours to produce your orders. 

  • Commands/units: For those attending resident courses, you will report to EWTGLANT no later than 0730 on the convening date for your course(s). You must send an advance party to arrive two working days prior to the arrival of the main body, or as agreed upon through direct liaison. 

    • Important Note: The advance party should consist of personnel capable of preparing for and coordinating the in-processing and billeting of the unit.
