ATCS (AW/SW) Liddle was raised in Akron, OH. He enlisted in September 1994 and went to RTC Orlando, FL. Following boat camp, he reported to NATTC Millington, TN for a 26 weeks AT “A” school. At the completion of “A” school he attended “C” school and reported to his first ultimate command at A/C OPT DET, NAS Brunswick, ME. While assigned to WC 610, he qualified as a Collateral Duty Inspector for 15 Navigation and Communication pieces of gear for the P-3C Orion, resulting in his advancement to AT3 and AT2. At the end of this successful tour, he honorably separated from the US Navy, 25NOV98.

 

In November 1999, he joined the United States Navy Reserves as an AT3 at VP-92, NAS Brunswick, ME. In his seven year tenure, he qualified as an A/C Handler, 210 CDI, Weapons Load Team member and a Full Systems QAR resulting in the Command Advancement Program to AT2 and AT1.
 

In November 2006, he enlisted back into the regular Navy and attended his second boot camp at Great Lakes, IL. After graduation he reported to AIMD NAS Brunswick, ME as the Calibration LAB LPO.
 

From Jan 2009-Feb 2012, AT1 Liddle served at Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron Two as WC 210 and QA LPO then went on to qualifying as a Maintenance Control Coordinator/ Safe for Flight resulting in his advancement to ATC.
 

ATC Liddle then transferred to CNATTU Whidbey Island. He earned his MTS, was LCPO for 4 Maintenance Training Units, acted as Command Senior Enlisted Leader, awarded Senior Instructor of the Year 2014, resulting in his advancement to ATCS.
 

In March of 2016, he graduated as a LCAC Craft master and served at ACU-4. While at ACU-4 he deployed with DET Alpha to lead three craft crews in IWO ARG Deployment 2018. He assumed the duties as DET Alpha’s LCPO to lead a five craft in support of Operation Trident Juncture 2018. After the successful completion of this operation, he was assigned the duties of LCAC Crew and Casualty Training Team (LCCTT) Lead, qualifying two detachments for worldwide employment in support of USS Bataan and Iwo Jima ARG.
 

ATCS Liddle’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (second award) and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (seventh award).
